MINISTER OF HEALTH DISTRIBUTES 20 AMBULANCES TO DISTRICT COUNCILS

On Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Hon Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda, MP handed over to District councils, ambulances worth over K2.5 bn. The brand new vehicles were procured using funds from Treasury.

Speaking at the official handover ceremony of the ambulances, the Hon Minister could not hide her excitement and appreciation to the State President for prioritizing the procurement of the ambulances in the current government budget.

She urged the councils to ensure that the vehicles were put to good use and that they were being well maintained at all times.

“I urge all of you receiving these ambulances to make sure that the vehicles are well maintained at all times.” The Hon Minister urged
